Rush

Welcome to Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity!!!

Every semester, we hold rush events at the beggining of the year.  If you would like more information or get in touch with us, please leave a message below.

Each year, nearly 1,000 young men across the United States join the 10th oldest Fraternity in the nation for fun and lifelong friendships.  Alpha Sigma Phi offers you a home in your new college environment, and a place to make your mark.

Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity embraces its unique opportunity and responsibility to provide excellent programming.  By providing hands-on, specific information through Pledge Education, you will be equipped and empowered to be a confident leader who make a difference on your campus and within your community.  Our programming is augmented with funding from the Alpha Sigma Phi Educational Foundation.  Working hand-in-hand, the Fraternity identifies needs of the membership and the Foundation addresses those needs to supplement training programs, alcohol education, and personal safety.

Alpha Sigma Phi members represent different racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds.  Our membership is comprised of men who reflect and live the values of Alpha Sigma Phi.  We strive to uphold our purposes, which encourage us to form a network of friends with high standards and similar values.  Alpha Sigma Phi supports personal growth, learning, and service to others.  With our Values as our guide, we recruit men into our Brotherhood who will contribute to the chapter and who demonstrate our values.

Safety of our chapter members is priority in Alpha Sigma Phi. Realizing that alcohol abuse is common on college campuses, our Risk Management Policy is in place to reduce risk among chapters and chapter members.  Alpha Sigma Phi expects each member to follow the federal, state, and local laws pertaining to alcohol. This expectation is reliant on personal responsibility and good decision-making. No member should pressure or encourage or force someone to consume alcohol.  Every member and new member must consider the impact his decision to drink can have on hisself, his chapter, and the Fraternity.

Your journey is set to begin.  Make the most of this opportunity – get involved and be engaged.  Alumni who look back on their college experience remember chapter events, philanthropy projects, Greek week, and ritual far more often than what they received on an paper or exam.  No one’s saying academics should take a back seat to this experience – in fact the opposite is true.  We consider ourselves a co-curricular organization because we believe the two experience – when done right – complement each other.  We hope you enjoy your experience and that this is just the beginning of many years of active involvement.

With that being said, come find us around campus and grace us with your presence.  We hold a rush week at the beggining of each semester and this semester is no exception.
